This Traditional Format (or "standard format") pack contains 4 separate Verbal Reasoning Practice Papers (5 to 8) in which answers are recorded in the same booklet as the questions.
The pack is designed to prepare children for the 11 plus secondary school selection tests. It can also be used to prepare children for the 12 Plus exams and independent or private school entrance examinations.
The Practice Papers will familiarise children and parents with the types of Verbal Reasoning questions found on selection examinations and the techniques for answering them. They will also provide children with essential experience in sitting formal, timed examinations so that they will work quickly and accurately enough in the actual examinations.
In addition to 4 Verbal Reasoning Practice Papers, the pack contains answers, guidance notes and a Progress Record to monitor performance.

This AFN Publishing pack supplements the Practice Tests 1 - 4, and similarly is recommended by eleven plus tutors since the practice questions reflect the type and difficulty of questions found on the real examinations.
The pack is in the traditional format where the children write the answers in the question booklet. The pack contains four separate practice papers contained in a plastic wallet. This makes the pack ideal for simulating exam conditions at home. The pack also has answers and a progress record sheet to help monitor performance.
The questions are well put together and presented. Each paper contains 100 questions and, like the actual examinations, is timed at 50 minutes.
