Lessons in the Post allows you, the parents, to tutor your child in your home in your time. For each week of the school term we will send you a lesson plan with worksheets to complete with your child by working alongside them for about half an hour a day. This fully supported programme has been running for 7 years with a 70% success rate for Grammar School places. It has been created by Jo Marchant, a teacher for 38 years experience, most of which have been spent preparing Essex children for the 11 Plus exam. The lessons are carefully structured, imaginatively presented and everything, including practice papers at the right time, is provided. We find parents get as much out of the experience as their children! Lots more details on the website.
