We are an established and successful tutoring group and we cater for 11+ exams, common entrance exams, as well as SATS preparation, and Maths, English and Science to boost your child’s confidence in school by providing extra support and compliment to school work.

RTG 11+ preparation courses

At RTG, we provide 11+ courses where exam and revision techniques are taught, as well as important time management skills. Pupils from all backgrounds and abilities are catered for.

To give your child the best chance for success, they need to start with us when they are `in year 5, and you will need to enrol your child for the duration of the course. This will ensure a solid foundation from which to begin practicing for verbal and non-verbal reasoning.

Please inform us if your child is sitting for more than one grammar school so that we can tailor their work accordingly.

Homework will be set every week and it is essential that this is done as directed in order to ensure your child retains newly taught skills and increased self-confidence.

Dates for 11+ preparation.

Initially, 9.30 to 11.30 every Saturday morning.

There after, the times will be allocated according the child’s speed, accuracy and ability. We will however try to accommodate your time preference wherever possible.

Intensive courses are run during school holidays and it is imperative that your child attends these.

Charges:

The charges for 11+ preparation are £15.00 per hour for the regular sessions.

There will be concessions offered for the intensive courses. These will be advised nearer the time of each course.

There are a limited number of books which we will supply and which you will be charged for and there will be one off charge for the license of our internet based homework and practice platform.

Charges for all other tuition are £10.00 per hour. All tutors will work with a very limited number of pupils to ensure each child is given attention. All tutorials are interactive and there are very few worksheets used.
