Re: How to pick between two grammar schools?
Hi. We had this problem between Calday & St Anselm’s. We picked Calday first although I still don’t know if it was the right choice. My son didn’t feel particularly strongly towards either of them. I made the decision in the end otherwise it ...
Re: Results??
... false; That’s really useful too. Thank you again. Hopefully all will be well regarding distance but we’d be more than happy with St Anselm’s’ if not x

Re: Yesterdays Exam
Corrina8285 Sorry your son didn’t get 11+ BUT Can only speak for friends who have had or currently have boys at St Anselm's and they highly rate it so no bad thing. We would have been quite happy for our youngest to go there if he hadn’t got 11+ but his brothers are at Wirral so ...

Re: Yesterdays Exam
Does anyone know an approximate date for when the St Anselm’s results come through? My son has sat both exams, and he feels they’ve gone okay but we haven’t tutored him, we have just worked a little but at home through the summer. We are very lucky ...

Re: St Anselm's entrance exam- anxious mum!
I don't have any experience of this but my boy sat the exam too. From what I have read on the forums the pass mark for maths and english is 55% so whilst he may of scored badly for not answering question properly he may have made it up on comprehension and still passed. I don't know what their exact...

Re: CAF/place at St. Anselm and try 12+ at Calday a year lat
Hi My understanding is this. If you put St Anselm's first and Calday second and he passes both then he will be allocated a place at St Anselm's and not Calday. If you put Calday first and St Anselm's second and he passes both then he will be allocated ...

Re: CAF/place at St. Anselm and try 12+ at Calday a year lat
Hi, I've got two questions that came up when we were thinking through possible options depending on the outcome of the 11+ and St. Anselm test results of our boy. a) In case he fails the 11+ but passes the St. Anselm test (but he is really dead keen on going to Calday) we would consider ...
