punctuation
Can anyone suggest a useful and simple resource to help my son with punctuation.Ideally it would need to be easy to follow with some short exercises. My son is hoping to sit the Birmingham Grammar school entrance exam this Nov.Many thanks!
Hi,
Susan Daughtrey has two books on punctuation:
Punctuation Rules and Practice, Books 1 and 2
(Isbn 1 898696 70 5 and Isbn 1898696 80 2)
I haven't used them myself so can't say whether they are good or not, but they are aimed at the 11 plus level.
There are a few websites as well if your child enjoys learning this way.

www.bbc.co.uk/schools/ks3bitesize/engli ... ndex.shtml
They are aimed at slightly older children.
Best wishes,
Sara
