Yoyo - that's a really good point. I hadn't realised Websters was US. The Oxford dictionary looks good. Thanks for the tip.

The ACE dictionary by D Moseley looks interesting on Amazon. But what are the numbers meant to represent on the sample pages? :?

Anyhow, they're disappearing fast. Last time I looked (at dawn), Amazon had 3 left. Now there's only 1! Grab it Mystery! :wink:

If we didn't actually use Websters for spelling but simply for eytomology, do you think it might still be useful? Anyway, I'll let you know because I ordered mine yesterday! :D

Ace does look good. If anyone forks out for that and recommends it, I'll add that to my colossal Amazon wishlist!
