Actually I was talking about the DAO passages. I can't find the Consortium 2014 papers posted anywhere. This time last year the 2013 papers were up. Has anyone located them anywhere? Thanks DG

Sorry for the confusion - I was referring to the Rakesh Group 1 comprehension that was 2 pages long last year, and interpreted that as potential lengthening of passages?

DG - the NHEHS Website says that the 2014 papers will be released in September - so by midweek next week we should have access to them

Thank you indeed, how long have they been there? I checked St Albans and St Helens only this week. Going now! Feel very excited to finally see them! DG

Hmm! Text and questions seem quite straight forward and continue the story as well. There must be pitfalls but not like Arlington Park and A Drink of Water and Grandparents. Text not that long. Can't wait to try it out and see where ten year olds fall down on this one. Have you tried it out dingding? DG

SH & DG-Your most welcome.

We haven't had a chance to look through the 2014 papers, stumbled across them by chance.
In terms of difficultly, how would you compare the consortium group 2 English papers compared to other schools.

They look quite straightforward but it is a constant source of surprise to me what things ten year olds find difficult in exam papers. I am gong to use the English paper on a group of them this week so I will let you know how we get on. DG

Hi, this is an interesting thread. How would you be able to mark the paper? is there an answer sheet available?
