Hi everyone,

My son and I went to the open evening at Slough Grammar and we found it very interesting. My son is hoping to get a place there after the exam in Sept 2009...just a question tho' would he have to sit the Slough 11+ exams as well as the Slough Grammar exam?

HI tidajodle,

Welcome to the forum.

You have the choice whether you sit for both or just one of the 'Slough area' exams.

If you are not going to put Langley, Herschel or St Bernards grammars on your CAF as one of your choices then you do not have to sit the 'consortium' 11plus exam,

Many people do both as it gives you 2 chances of a grammar place. The consortium exam is Verbal & non- verbal.....Slough grammar 11 plus exam is Verbal, Non-verbal and Maths.
