Don't much worry about your child feedback.
Last year, my son came out saying that everything was hard and was looking really fed up. Another child said that the maths were hard but the rest was really easy, and my heart sank. But in the end, my son passed, the other child didn't.

shouldn't have read this, my son (out of county) is doing the test on sat. If
it is any consolation someone from his primary after (self reportedly) guessing the last 10 or so questions on the second test.

my daughter said the first section of the non verbal was really hard and had to guess about 5,the second part she said was easy.

My son came back saying that 1st part of the non-verbal was easier than the second part. He was happy that one type of non-verbal he doesn't like didn't turn up.

But, he said that the maths paper was quite hard. he was adament that the type of questions appeared was nothing like the ones in NFER. He always found the Bond maths papers hard and he said that the actual test was probably harder than Bond. Did anyone else come back with this sort of comment? I am a bit concerned now. I always thought maths was his best subject.

He found verbal reasoning easier than the Bucks verbal papers.

How did everyone else find it?

My son thought Maths was the easiest, then Verbal and hardest was the NV.

He said Maths was lot easier then NEFER and Bond.
It was more like what he learns at school. I just have to wait until the results arrives.

That's bad news - my son is doing it tomorrow at Slough Grammar and always finds the NV the most difficult! I suppose that it is the same papers?

Good luck to anyone else who has it on Saturday ... another sleepless night (for me)!

Good luck to those who are taking the Slough test tomorrow......

Please remind your children that there may be some children that will find the situation too much... and not to be surprised if another child becomes upset or needs to leave the room. Just to focus on their paper and let the teacher be the one who sorts it out.
This happened to my son last year but because I had warned him that it might happen he did not let it bother him.

If you are taking it at SG and they follow the same system as last year...... you will arrive and go to the hall entrance (to the right of the main entrance and be checked in, your child will then be given a row number to stand in. Then they will check in at the 'row' where they will be compared with the photograph that accompanied their application.
You are then expected to say goodbye to your child and leave.
Each 'row' will then be taken to different classrooms to do the 11+.

Knowing the routine may help to calm some nerves.

Good luck again.
