does anyone have sure answer or any ideas on if student can do his work out on the question paper for berks/bucks/tiffin 11 + exams ?

Usually rough paper is available for working out. Writing on the actual question paper is discouraged.

My understanding for the Bucks test is that rough paper is NOT allowed and so your DC should use the question paper to make notes.
