Congrats to all the DC who passed and best hopes to those who got close. My DS got 120 in Bucks and we have had real pain re. Headmasters report, for a prospective appeal to Bucks. DS has just received consortium results and got 118NVR and 122VR (120 result). Is this enough to get his first choice to Langley in the first round??
I still don't understand if the pass mark is 111 and the cut off last year was 117? and 120? two years what this means. Some advice would be great especially as we have not sent the appeals form to Bucks as this was a second choice on the CAF forms and we are OOC for both areas ie. Bucks and Berkshire!

Hi HarryM

Your daughter will definately get in Langley at 120 average....don't worry... because the last year cut off was 117 and shes definately beyond this cutoff...my son got an av score of 113 [117 NVR and 108 VR] suprisingly...since he had left 7 questions unanswered in NVR! He got 120 for Bucks but that was our last preference on CAF....Still worried whether he will get a place at Langley or Herschel :( He is working hard to appear for Tiffin Boys now! Anyways Congratulations to ur daughter and all the best!

Is it an absolute definite that last year's cut off was 117 for Langley?

I have had information that the first allocation cut off was 117 but not had anyone give a definite for the last round allocations.
