Chances of getting into Reading Boys grammar for langley boy
hi
we live in SL3 post code and this is not in catchment post codes for reading boys grammar schools. Can someone suggest the possible chances for my son to get into reading grammar though we are not catchment. I understand child has to go thru the admission test on english/maths/vr-or-nvr and merit is important ofcourse
any one tried from outside catchment to get into reading, any ideas/opinions please

I know no replies to this thread
but I found some useful information from Reading Boys school.
The school admissions said that : As we are always very heavily oversubscribed this is very unlikely to happen. In the last 12 years we have only accepted a student from outside the Designated Area once.
So I am not going to put Reading boys school in my son's CAF form
