Was Langley exam (secondary school) difficult this year?

I think this exam is difficult, and the fact that a lot of children who sit both seem to acheive a lower number score compared to the Bucks exam (different content plus, I suspect, different standardisation) makes it seem harder still. I was having this discussion with a friend around the time the results came out and, for the children we knew, there seemed to be a drop of up to 20 marks between the two.

my dd got 130 - we started prep a year before the exam so october of her year 5 at school.
however we had been doing bond books with her from 1st papers

her friend from the same class got 127
the remaining kids scored between 100-117
