Langley 2012 Offer

Hi My DS has not offer the place after getting 124 in langley .... very disappointed ,Can some one tell me what is the cut off score for the 1st round of allocation..thnx

This is shocking... normally Langley first round offer is around 119.. My son also didn't get offer from slough grammer school and he has 115.. does any one know first round offer for slough grammer school ?

Did you get offer from the other consortium schools? we had 124 for Herschel and didn't get a place, but there may have been an issue with the CAF will find out tommorrow. Which county are you in?

124 sounds awfully high to have not got an offer. Are you sure no probs with CAF ? Quite a few posts on forum tonight about problems

We were offered a local school that was not on CAF, underneath it said

'unfortunately we did not receive details from the LA you applied to' so I dont know what happened but will call them tommorrow. We are in ealing.

Sorry, I have no information for you, but just a post to say how sorry I am to hear your news. Most years 124 would have got you a first round offer, and its a really good score in a hard paper.

I really hope someone is able to share some information with you soon.

Eta - We are in Hillingdon and got an offer from St Bs on the CAF, if that helps your investigation at all.

Hello hasmum - I am in ealing too but did get local school. Did you see 'no information' in email or letter ?
Also please paste url where issue with CAF is discussed.

Sorry I was trying to find the thread with CAF issues, I will post after I have spoken to Ealing and Slough LA.
