Hi everyone all worried mums,
I am one of them i just pray that everyone gets what they want....
Remember its not end of the world if your child is capable he/she will
be always like a lotus in the mud even in comprehensive.
All the best to everyone.
Waiting seems too long...

I've already been told very recently that I'm a cool babe. perhaps my influence is spreading.sonasona wrote:Have you noticed how calm we are in Berkshire? Most of the other regions are posting loads about sleeps, days to go, worries etc, but here in Berks we seem to be so chillllllled
Definitely a slow week here. DD is away in France with school and won't be back until Friday afternoon. DH and I were planning to go out a couple of times, but he is going out this evening with a group of clients from work.
I even resorted to working extra hours today and probably the next couple of days. I may even be tempted to do something useful at home.
Party at mine any one? Bring your own beer.

Re: 100 days to go
maybe we are just like the swans on the Thames - calm and serene above the surface but paddling like billy-o under water
OH just phoned home to see if we had 'anything on' on Friday or could he go to end of month drinks after work. I calmly said - you go ahead dear, I'll stick your dinner in the oven and eat with DD. Men!
party sounds good

Re: 100 days to go
OMG, all this talk of parties has got me going
Friday is DD time!
You can't touch this, You can't touch this, You can't touch this, You can't touch this, You can't touch this!
My, my, my music hits me so hard, Makes me say "Oh, my Lord" Thank you for blessing me With a mind to rhyme and two hype feet.
It feels good, when you know you're down, A super dope homeboy from the Oak town. And I'm known as such
And this is a beat, uh, you can't touch
I told you, homeboy(You can't touch this)
Yeah, that's how we living and you know(You can't touch this)

Not sure about serene white swans, but I'm having quite a giggle to myself imagining Sonasona singing/rapping to the beat.
I'm coming up so you'd better get this party started.
I think someone has spiked the drinks.
Just found out that DD visited a cider making place today.

Re: 100 days to go
very educational
we took DD to a tiny gin distillery in New England and she loved all the maths they had on a big white board to calculate specific gravity at different temp and pressure so that they knew how much to put in each bottle on a given day. Its always good to see real world applications for what you learn in school.

Tinkers, you forgot to mention the baggy trousers
Oh, how we need to keep ourselves occupied though these gruelling last few days!
On a more serious note, I've been thinking about something Reading Mum said a few days ago with regards to the hectic Kendrick Opening Evening........
Q. Why did the corridor get gridlocked halting all the foot traffic?
A. Because the chickens needed to cross the corridor!

Of course. The baggy trousers.
Sorry the party had to be cancelled this evening. DH didn't go out with clients as expected so came home.
So we went out to a nearby Indian restaurant, (Actually both Sonasona and Reading Mum will probably know of it ) we are both stuffed.
Didn't have chicken though.
