Hi,

My son just appeared for the 13+ entrance to Year 9 held in Jan 2013 at the Reading Boys' school. The results were posted in Feb and he was placed 5th on the waiting list.
Does anybody know historically what are the chances of my son getting a place and if there is any possibility of the waiting list moving up by 5 places. Apparently this year 76 boys appeared for the 12 places available.

Thanks

That is excellent, well done - unfortunately our son is 9 which I think is far too down on the list.. I think you have a chance, have you called the school to ask about historically how much movement there has been?
