How many candidates this year

Does anybody know how many candidates are sitting for Kendrick exam this year?

looks like 760+ much higher than last year's 651

Strangely makes me feel better about lack of prep- not sure any amount would have been enough for those odds!

Definetly a taster session for Tiffin wannabes then! Also, with the early results candidates may as well have a go....if they get the score, apply for the school. That's what happened last year.

with 807 candidates for 96 seats the cut off could be even higher than last years 113!!

I believe 651 last year was a record. That's staggering.

It would look like you need about 118 to be in the top 96, (I'm no statistican, and it may be a bit clunky since the score is an average of two scores.) last year it was about 116.

The actual cut off last year was 113. So maybe 114/115 this time round?

Of course, if Sonasona's predictions are that many are using it as a mock with little intention of applying then that will have an impact on the actual cutoff (in a good way).

Also, not everyone who applies turns up. Seems approx 50 each year changeind before the day.
