Filling out CAF

Post by Flatsix »

Hi all,
Have only just 'discovered' this forum (well post 11+) and have found it really interesting.

We are now filling out our CAF form for our DD. We live in Maidenhead and are in catchment for Borlase and Kendrick and out of area (but close to) the other Bucks GS on our list. The question we have is; are there any suggestions of the type of info we should/should not put in the Additional Information sections for each school?

Many thanks in advance!

You don't have to put anything in the additional information section - just list the schools in the order you want them

Another question about the CAF (getting paranoid that we're doing things wrong :?). Bucks requires parents to scan a utility bill as proof of address whereas the Berks CAF doesn't seem to have that. Could someone confirm what evidence (if any) is required.

Thanks again!

There isn't a Berkshire CAF, is there? You do the secondary school application through your home LA (is that Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead for you?) and put in whatever information they ask for.

Yep Windsor & Maidenhead - on closer inspection I just need to give the council tax bill number - last year it had to be sent.

Must...learn...to...read...instructions! :)
