I would like my son to sit the 11plus for St Bernard's Grammar School in Berks. Does anyone have any good suggestions for suitable practise papers. Am i right in thinking that this test is a different format to the Bucks paper?

You are right. The Slough consortium 11+ consists of Maths, Verbal Reasoning and Non-Verbal Reasoning. They are NFER papers - Multiple choice format.
NFER-Nelson have published practice papers of this format which you can get from the 'book shop' on this site or from the main high street book shops (Ottakars, WHSmith etc). You can get them in subject packs or in the Variety pack.
There may be other papers...... possibly e-papers on this site. As long as they are NFER - Multiple Choice format they will be comparable. I think there are also CD's on the site that are of teh same format. Unfortunately these were not available when my son took his 11+ (two years ago).

Have a look around the 'book store' as they do stock many of the published papers. :)
