Bracknell to Kendrick

Post by sonalshukla »

Hi,

We are based at Bracknell Forest (now !) and DD got an offer from Kendrick for Sept2014 batch.
Just looking for a company for her travel to school, and may be more..

Is there anyone out there at Bracknell who is in the same boat?

Best regards

My DD will travel to Kendricks from either Blackwater or Bracknell, as both stations are the same distance. We will try both and see which is easiest for us.

When you get forms from the Kendrick parents society, there's one to get onto the class contact lists.

Thanks Tinkers.
Yes I read your other post for Slough/Burnham to Kendrick where you told about this.

You would agree, at this stage these girls are still in their protected shell, never travelled alone...

We as parents, do want them to have least travel as possible. We are quite far from train station, and the bus journey to station is a concern at the moment.

However I understand it will be fine with time, as other girls would be doing the same.
I am sure by next year they will be independent individuals, capable of taking small decisions.

Regards,
Sonal

My DD was nervous about taking the bus. Within a couple of days, she had already became quite blasé about the whole thing.

The thing that helped most was practise. Take her on the route several times over the next few months. Go through the 'what if' scenarios.

They all seem to adapt quickly to the journey.
