DH came home he was told from a work collegue whom also attended the Langley opening evening that the head told him that it does not matter now what month a child is born they will not be penalised.

Has anyone else heard the same????

I imagine the Head said this because Slough LEA standardise the test results and take account of the month a child was born. Therefore a September child's raw score needs to be higher than a July child's score.

There is age standardisation in the Slough area.

See this link for more info.
