Reply from kendrick school

The highest scoring candidate achieved a standardised score of 134.70.

The purpose of conducting the tests and releasing the marks before the CAF deadline is to inform parents whether their daughter has reached a standard suitable for a grammar school. You are advised to use this information to help you to decide whether to include Kendrick School as a preferred school on the CAF. At this stage, any other information can give no guidance to the likelihood of the offer of a place, since preferences have not been made.

We are therefore not releasing how many candidates scored more than 110 or the number of candidates out of the designated area.

I am delighted and absolutely thrilled with my daughters result. She has scored 134.7 in Kendrick and 165 in Slough.
All the children have worked extremely hard and I wish everyone the very best.

Well done to you and your DD

Highest score 134.7 this year against 141 last year?
Does that mean last year cut off 114 should go down below as well?

There is a high chance of cut off going lower with the catchment rule being enforced from 20th June 2014 for 2015 entry compared to 31st Jan 2014 for 2014 entry.

The highest possible score would still be 141 I guess, but since the score is an average of two papers, unless someone gets a max score on both they are not going to get 141.

Congrats on an excellent score btw.

Not sure how he cutoff will be affected, as more took it this time, but we don't k ow how many were in ooc. 114 seems like a reasonable guess, but if you were a few points below its still worth a punt unless you have other choices you'd prefer to put on your caf

I produced a model that indicates a cutoff of 111.5. It is based on assumptions though as we dont know many of the actual parameters involved.
