My daughter has scored 127, and we are not in catchment. What is the realistic chance of she getting in Slough school?

Make a decision between Bucks and Slough to save people giving you wasted advice. Surely you looked at the schools before you applied for the tests all over the country?

If you look around on this forum (& Bucks) you will find data on places offered in previous years e.g. distances for the furthest place offered. As well as thinking about whether the journey is manageable and whether you like the school, you can also check the distance from your home to a school (google something like 'crow flies distances UK') to see how this compares to previous years' offers. Also speak to the schools' admissions officers and ask whether they have many children from your area.
