As far as I am aware, the rules you need to adhere to are those for the area you live in, where you have submitted your CAF. However, as the system is a nationwide coordinated one, there is presumably some agreement between the LEAs as to what latitude the system can allow.

Why would you want to change your preferences?

I think you need to check both your LA and the LA of the school(s) you are interested in, but it's likely you will be treated as a late applicant if you change your application.

As Tinkers says, if you change your preferences now, you will be treated as a late applicant.

That would mean that your application will not be considered for the first round of allocations on 1st March.

In that event, you are unlikely to receive any of your preferences.

I advise you in the strongest possible terms to leave your CAF well alone from this point forward.

Also if you a referring to Kendrick, you weren't in catchment when you applied for the test, so you will be classed as ooc, even if you subsequently move.
