I wrote to the Reading School and have got information regarding the full test result of Reading School and how many pupils were OCC when they registered.

Though the full result has been given to me in pdf format, it's very difficult for me to change it to excel. If any excel expert is there to convert it , then kindly PM me with your email address I will try to send you the file. Without that it's difficult to analyse the result pattern and the ranking of students.

In the mean time, please note the following :

Among first 150 th rank - 73 pupils are OCC
200 th rank - 94 pupils are OCC
250 th rank - 120 pupils are OCC
300 th rank - 144 pupils are OCC

So once someone has converted the pdf file to excel and post it in this forum , you can see your son's exact rank and the probability of him getting a place in Reading School.

Hope this is helpful.

BTW - I worte to Kendrick as well but so far they have not responded at all, though rightfully they are supposed to reply within 24th Nov. If I receive any information from Kendrick, I will post it in this forum like I did last year :)

Till then all the best to all the parents here who are waiting anxiously for the national allocation day.

I have also called up the Reading School and requested for an excel copy, let's see if they are willing to give one or not.

Hi, I'm sure indiemom will be along soon to predict possible cutoff.

in the meantime I've collated the following Reading Boys Breakdown from the score sheet obtained by indiemom for Reading Boys test taken Sep 2015.

Rank Score
1 127.1
10 124.36
20 123.32
30 122.3
40 121.6
50 121.09
60 120.39
70 120
80 119.63
90 119.08
100 118.61
110 118.35
120 118.13
130 117.97
140 117.48
150 116.85
175 115.66
200 114.72
225 114
250 113.31
275 112.44
300 111.74
325 110.97
350 110.32
400 109.25

This will give you and idea of where your DS lies in the grand scheme of things. I didn't want to post pages and pages of scores on here but believe the rankings I've selected above should give you enough info.

I wish you all the best.

I'll stick this on the allocated scores sticky for future reference.

Thanks a lot sonasona for your help.

I have put the file that sonasona kindly converted to googledrive.

So here is the link to that drive.

If anyone find any difficulty accessing the file, kindly let me know.

Hope that helps.

This is really great information

What are the chances of Kendrick providing the same? I understand from an earlier posting the school has been asked for this? Did they promise to deliver by 24th November or was this a suggested date to them? Would be great for those with DDs applying for Kendrick who have no fingernails left.

Thanks once again

I have asked for the same information under FOI to Kendrick and they are supposed to respond within 20 school days or 60 working days, based on that I mentioned 24th Nov :)
