For the last two years (and these are the only years that are relevant) that has been the case.

I'd only look at last year though as the previous year Slough standardised differently.

Trawl back through the Berkshire forum for last years results. Some people posted both scores. I think it was about 10 marks but depends how far away from 100 you are.

I think from what I have read on here (scroll down the Berkshire section & you will find information), it is just the last ?2 years that the scores have been shared, and in both those years the Reading scores have been lower than the Slough ones, but there is no formula, it depends entirely on the group of children sitting the exams, as each group is standardised.

Opps- cross posts with Tinkers

A cross-post is one made at the same time as another person.

Tinkers is the name of the Forum Member who has kindly taken the time to answer your question ...

Last year, there was a difference of around 10 between Slough and Reading scores. Of course it could be different this year depending on cohort scores.

No point going back to the year before because Slough had a different score range so it wouldn't be comparable.

Good luck to all those expecting Reading results tomorrow.
