I am hearing that St Bernard's in Slough may loose it's grammar school status in 2011.
Anyone know what is going on?
Thank you :o

Not heard anything.......last official document I have seen was a 'Slough' council document relating to St B (back in July) where it was clarifying the 11+ admission process for admissions in 2009....where did you hear it......

The story in the local paper can be found here

and

not much information at the moment.

A brief synopsis can be found on the school websites.

Hello,
I received a letter from the school on Friday. No body really knows but the Local Authority have agreed to foot the bill to make one large Catholic school.
The school looses it's grammar school status (makes sense...why would the local authority pay for a new school for those not living in their borough)
