Does anyone know whether or not the KS2 SATS will determine which "sets" the children will be put into in Langley?

I rang them today and they told me that they do not have "sets" according to ability and performance in the early years. So that SATs will not affect them! :D

HI JaysDarlin,

Sorry wasn't able to access the internet today......

The Slough grammars usued do some kind of CAT test in the first term...... just to give an idea of targets to set, for the first year.
Maths and science are usually the first to be put into 'sets'.....but not until Yr 8, 9 or 10 - depending on the school.
