For 2012, had a letter from Langley that the cut off for the first round was 118 and some with score 117 closer to the school.

Hope my DD who has a score of 117 and living further away has a chance.

Just wanted a clarification on the scoring system at Slough consortium.
Does it mean that if my DS got 90% aggregate as raw score in the Tests, i.e. 72/80 in NVR and 77/85 in VR, will he will be getting a score of around 126 (+/- for age)???

A score of 111 looks like 80%. Will 80% raw score be good enough if he is born in January.
Could someone please clarify.

this year total around 3000 pupil appeared for slough consortium test from all test centres (including catchment and out of catchment pupil). so 3000 pupil for 500 seats

HI Thriny

125 is an excellent score for slough consortium exams, earlier in this thread someone posted that the first round offers for Langley came in at 118, historically Slough grammar first round offers have been less than Langley.

I posted this last year....
With the criteria changing we have no historical data on scores and offers.
Slough Grammar now takes the first 100 on score and then 45 on pass mark and distance.

Before the change in criteria first round offers were around the 114/115, this means that of the applicants who put SGS on the CAF as their first choice, or possibly second choice (and did not reach the first offer score of their first choice) there were 145 that had between 114/115 and 141.
I would expect this to rise as there are now only 100 offered on score but obviously as you reach the higher scores there will be less applicants on each score.

It is possible that you could ask the admissions officer at the school what was the final cut off for last year (on score only criteria)... if you get an answer please let us know.
Thanks
