 Post subject: KEFW appeal

My DS is placed at 35th in waiting list at KEFW(PAN 336), 3rd in KEA(PAN 331} my son's at 331, got in BVGS. KEFW is the nearest one & 2 of his friends will be going there also. Do you think I shall make an appeal for a place at KEFW & request for remarking his papers.

In short no, unless you have special circumstances - very few B/Ham KE Appeals are successful

I am afraid I agree with Kenr. Very few appeals are upheld and I don't think wanting the school nearest you would cut much ice. All over Birmingham there are people who are travelling a distant KE because they have not been awarded their nearest.

I think I would just be glad that you have a good school in hand, BV, and will probably get Aston off the waiting list.
