11 Plus Exams Forum

Many people have prepared for this year for the Grammar school exmination. I am talking about the admissions for the King Edward VI grammar schools in Birmingham which held on 5th Nov 2010.
Just wanted to know from the forum

a) How was the exam this time? Very Easy, Easy, Medium,Hard, Really Tough
b) Which subject was easy, which was tough?
c)What your kid says after coming out of the centre?

I got the response that paper was easy. (really not tough). I met few students, may be all have prepared well.

those that found it easy will probably not pass and vice versa..

Unfortunately there will be an exam in the very near future for those children who were sick or unable to take the exam on the day - so I don't think it is yet appropriate to post detailed feedback on the web.
However as a parent of a child who will take the exam next year, I am hoping that come February time, parents will post information on here!

If parents want to PM me information on the Nov 2010 KE 11+ Exam, I will collate and publish after the 2nd sittings.

When is the second sitting or has it already taken place? I have some information and will PM you in due course when time allows so parents of perspective children know what it was like especially for those considering BV or Sutton Girls as it was a new format for them this year..

Think 1 of the alternative sessions has already been held but there may be others for late admissions which can be held into Jan.

I you want to forward the content info I will collate with the other info I have already received and publish mid Jan

it's been such a long time since that exam that I forgot that we still had to share views of that day...offers are already coming in from the indies for those that sat them..
