My DS is in Darwin resmum.
According to him it is the best house, think he might be a little biased though!!

After all that and we are in a different house - CLIVE
So we have 2 Darwins! Never mind, I'm sure they will group up for CCF, Rugby, Chess, Cross Country, Swimming etc
Any more from CLIVE house?

Clive - such a brilliant name for a house!
I understand why a house would be called Darwin, but who is Clive? (Please excuse my ignorance if it's someone extremely famous that I should know about

Captain Matthew Webb, who in 1875 became the first person to swim the English Channel. Captain Webb died in 1883, attempting to cross a whirlpool at the foot of Niagara Falls
? this him - born Dawley ... not that far away! Seem to remember that when Telford was initially planned it was called Dawley New Town
