Hi Everyone

My child is sitting the Thomas Telford exam soon. Does anyone know what their assessment consists of (ie non verbal etc)? The school website offers no info on this.

Thanks

In 2005 it was NFER non-verbal reasoning but that's a long time ago and it may have changed. There's no advantage to practicing for this test - rather the opposite, the top ability bands appear to be more heavily oversubscribed than the bottom - but in any case the Y5 school report appears to be the most important factor.

Hi, I have found out, (after a friend's child sat the exam today) that it is maths, verbal and non-verbal test. They are much simpler than the bond papers (my daughter has been practicing them).
