Hey,

one of my pupils has just been called in to take a test for Bishop Vesseys.
He is in year 8. Any ideas?
I heard there will be a a french test and an English comprehension.

Thanks

Most of the selective Grammars in B/Ham do this.

The cohort taking the exam would include transfer from other regions, requested transfers from other grammars (if they originally failed to make the transfer pass mark) and I guess those high on the original waiting list who failed to get in (but requested they they stay on the list).

I'm aware of the girl a few years ago who failed to get into 5-ways but got into KE Handsworth Girls but didn't settle for various reasons. She took the KE 5-ways exam at the end of year-7. The exam was quite different to the normall 11+ and based on year-7 summer exam material.
