Those of us from Warks have had to get used to you Brummies using our earlier test for practice during the last couple of years. Well the boot will be on the other foot next year! Unless our test also gets put back - but I can't see how it can be any earlier than yours or it will be in the holiday period.

I wonder if this will be the same test in B/Ham and Warks to save money on Durham compiling 2 tests

Queen Mary's will clearly need to move their December exam forward significantly too.

I reckon this change will make the summer holiday period more 'stressful' for parents and children.
Instead of counting down the months/weeks to the exam, they will be counting the days... there will be more pressure.

However it leaves almost the whole of Year 6 as a wilderness for bright children in most state schools, who have nothing to 'work for' and almost nothing to do (certainly nothing stretching).

But I am sooo happy that it is not in flu/norovirus/nasty cough season any more.

Never tried it for my other dc but I have to admit that I was looking forward to registering for the Warks' exam as a test practice  That's now out of the window!

Well, I suppose we have more time to prepare for the indie's now...
