Is KECHB score higher as there are fewer places available than the others?

It will be interesting to find out the last scores for Aston and BV and how close they were this year.

I'm sorry Um , I only have the girls scores but if you look up last years scores and see how they have increased this year for the girls , I'm sure an educated guess will give you a good idea .

I know reeyah , but it does go to show the 276 score is a one off and anything above 230 the candidate wouldn't struggle with the step up .

Thanks for this haly - will be calling tomorrow - my daughter has got into Handsworth too! She also has a place at Edgbaston High School and we have to make a decision this week, so we're going to Rose Hill for a nose about tomorrow morning

My daughter fell in love with the place as soon as she walked through door , it's a bit like Hogwarts . It was her No1 choice purely because of the Headmistress and the staff . I think if they're good enough to get into any of these schools , they'll be a success and have a fantastic time . She came alive when she walked into the school , it was like someone had plugged her into the mains , needless to say she's really looking forward to it .

Not directly. It's high because most parents of boys (yes, I do mean "more than 50% of applicants" ) put CHB as their first choice. Ratio of first preference to places at CHB is massively higher than at any of the others.
