I too am grateful,
The forum has gone abit 'crazy' since last weeks exam.
With the mixture of anxious parents( myself inc), horror stories from other parents and dcs and several people blatantly fishing for exam content. I'm glad to read actual facts.
Just got to sit tight and wait now, do feel awful taking a very keen Ds to open evenings at potential schools knowing there's a chance he won't be going

Lottie I feel the same! It is all very well getting to them to fall in love with the schools at the beginning of year 5 in order to motivate them but I feel a bit cruel taking him along now in case he likes it even more but doesn't get a place - I think I will take to some of the local comps instead and show him the benefits in case he doesn't get in!
