Hi, just wondering if anyone knows off children that have not done so well on one exam (not got a good rank) eg walsall and done great on another eg Birmingham. All replies welcome Thanks.

Happens all the time Eileen - kids can have an off day / not suit the exam etc etc yet do fine somewhere else

Am feeling your pain Eileen. Haven't shown any disappointment to DD but holding it in is so hard.

Thanks, most of her friends found qmh easy compared to Birmingham, but she felt Birmingham was better for her??? Just don't know she ranked 320 for qmh. Hope she has a chance for Birmingham.

Hi, my DS got warks result on Saturday, looks like he will get a place at King Edward vi Stratford. Scored 360, lowest QS last year 338.
However, he sat bham exam the week before. After the warks exam he said he found it easier than the bham one.
Talking to him now, it sounds like he missed a lot of the bham questions, where he answered all the warks ones!
He has his heart set on KEFW, so we shall see what this week brings!

Well done to your DS nervousmom -amazing result! Good luck for tomorrow, Tuesday or Wednesday ( I know I'm hoping - it will probably be Friday now)!
