Our son W has received a score of 213.....
Now decision time!!
Are we dreaming if we put KEFW down, or could it be possible. Having a daughter who will be going through it again next year (heaven help us) we would like them to be together

Any advice would gratefully be received...................thanks :D

Hi,

For the past two years, the last candidate who was offered a place at KEFW had score of 223 (2010) and 227 (2011)- see the sticky "KE Grammar Pass Marks 2005-2012" at the top of these pages- and not all the candidates on these scores were offered a place.

Score of 213 is unfortunately too far down the ranking to have a realistic chance of a place at KEFW- if 1850 candidates took the test, then almost 270 candidates have scores between 213 and 227.

Obviously, you lose nothing by putting KEFW on your preference list, but you could also consider BISHOP VESEY with qualifying scores of 215 and 212 for the past two years and your local school ( last preference ) as your back up option.
