I know that other factors come into it too, eg distance, but let's say that all schools are under one hour travel. if you could pay for whichever school you fancied.....which would you choose/have chosen?

I'd stick with the one DS is at and move closer.

Happy to say I'd leave Ds1, dd2 and ds2 where they are .. but dd1 could do with being in a small school where she got more attention ... then I think she would do better. I don't think she is unhappy right now but I think her confidence would be improved if she was doing better at school ... or if she was at a small school would she more likely to be bottom?

Quite lucky to feel quite happy with what we've got!

As it has taken 3 hours tonight to get them to stop fighting and go to sleep, and ds1 keeps asking me about German verbs, I'm thinking that a boarding school would be just great
