Comprehension CEM papers

Does anyone know how long the comprehension passages normally are in the CEM papers? I thought they would be very short by looking at the sample questions that CEM produce but was surprised by the length of the passages in the recently published CGP papers for the CEM exams. Any insight would be appreciated. Thanks.

Have a look here for an example of a cloze which KenR posted based on an actual text used in a previous CEM test. Expect the comprehension texts to be of a similar length.

It varies from year to year, I guess one year there was a very long one in about 30 mins, another year two short ones 10-15 mins each. Pls have a look at the Birmingham past exam contents sticky top of this forum.
