Rather than the distance, it's the country roads that are putting me off! I'm not a confident driver and am dreading the pick up on dark evenings. I'm thinking of going to QMGS to have a look even though I hadn't really looked at it seriously before.

I am not sure you can classify the Wolves to Newport route as a "country road" (although the dw has started talking about a Land Rover Defender being our next car ) but if it is a concern then you need to look at alternatives, and QMGS is rather more than a mere alternative. I would urge you to visit QMGS, a very impressive school.
