Just to note that the scoring system for the Walsall consortium is a little different to that used in Bham and Warks.

Walsall will allocate a third of the marks to Maths, a third to NVR and a third to VR/Literacy.

Bham and Warks will allocate half of the marks to VR/Literacy and the Maths and NVR combined will make up the other half.

So it could be argued that a child with stronger literacy/weaker maths would be better served by the scoring system in Bham and Warks, but might not do as well with the scoring system in Walsall.
