Hi,

My Daughter did very well and achieved over 360 in the QM Girls (Walsall) 11+ test and obviously we are delighted. We however would still prefer for her to attend Sutton Coldfield Grammar school for Girls (results out in October). The dilemma is if she is borderline with her results at Sutton Girls, do we still put Sutton Girls on top of the LEA application form (Staffordshire) with QM Girls (Walsall) second?

The question therefore is: If she fails to get into Sutton Girls does she automatically get allocated a place at QM Girls or do we have the anxious wait of seeing if others who had QM girls as first choice take the allocation up?

Any advice wold be greatly appreciated!

Put them in YOUR order of preference. Whether they are put as first, second or last choice makes no impact on whether you get a school. If you don't get your first choice, then your second automatically becomes your first choice.
