Unfortunately for a girl, a score of 200 means that a grammar school place in Birmingham is unlikely. It has been unheard of for a girl to be offered a grammar school place on that score (for a boy it could mean a possibility of a Handsworth Grammar place by waiting list).

I do hope that you're able to choose a good alternative for your daughter.
This year, there are new possibilities for parents, due to the Birmingham University Free School and other free schools being available such as Nishkam High and Perry Beeches.

Couldn't quite understand this thread - BUT did you try Walsall/wolves test or Warks at all? Would like to know your other possible options to aid your decisions.
