Pls use this thread for posting your results for Birmingham Grammar Schools

https://www.birminghamgrammarschools.org/content/results-and-offers
Consortium site state "you will receive your child's test score by 14th October 2016 by post".

But my guess is "it's already posted today late using Royal Mail 1st Class at around 6:00pm", so some of you might receive it tomorrow.

For 2005-2016 Pass marks on allocation day refer topic : viewtopic.php?f=11&t=7148&#p74603

List of Schools

- Bishop Vesey's Grammar School for Boys
- Handsworth Grammar School
- King Edward VI Aston School
- King Edward VI Camp Hill School for Boys
- King Edward VI Camp Hill School for Girls
- King Edward VI Five Ways School
- King Edward VI Handsworth School for Girls and
- Sutton Coldfield Grammar School for Girls

We would welcome and are happy to hear about the scores of all our forum contributors, and we also hope to discuss queries regarding the scores.

If you are a new contributor and would like to post your child's score, we also hope to hear more from you in terms of advice for others and your 11+ experience :D .

228 here - not quite sure what that means yet, but he has done very well considering how stressful he found the timings.

Congratulations to you and your son :D

I am assuming a non PP score but looking at last years entry points KE Aston, Bishops Vesey and Handsworth Boys are all within range maybe even KE Fiveways. It all depends on where you live and your views of the schools.

Thank you everyone :D

Very pleased for him. He would have preferred FW I think, but it seems unlikely to me. Both FW and KEA are a bit of a trek so I didn't mind too much as long as he does ok on the test.

Yes, I think we have KEA as an option. I like BV too but I wonder if the predicted increase in BV cut-off will impact KEA cut-off - would it make it higher?
