You said the travelling time was approx 25mins greater for KEHG s than SCGSG but KEHG had better exam results. Send your daughter to Sutton Girls and 'persuade' her to use the commuting time saved to do an extra bit of revision every day (for 7 years) and I'll bet she gets fantastic exam results - minus the additional commuting hassle.

That's what we are going to do; forfeit CHG for KEHG and save 30mins (twice daily) commuting, that's a lot of time and money saved over 7 years, not to mention stress!

A hard-working child with good parental support will do well at most schools.

PS: my older daughter is in year8 at KEHG and a girl in her form left at the end of year7 to join SCGSG on account of the travelling involved. So choose very carefully as I don't think changing after a year is an easy thing to do as your daughter will have made friends etc and there can be problems settling in a new school.
