Interested to read that a school can set higher GCSE requirements for girls applying to enter at sixth form than for boys staying on. Isn't this discriminatory? :o

Camp Hill Boys and Girls are totally separate schools, although they share a site and have some combined musical/ drama activities etc and one or two shared A level classes, so I guess they can each set their own entrance requirements at 6th form too, which will also depend on the choices of their existing pupils. There are other minor differences too, for example 6th form girls don't have to wear uniform whereas the boys do (although without blazers where else would they keep everything....!)
