Just for information, I believe that in my daughter's year about 20 of the 108 places went to girls from the nearby prep school. Of the remainder, over 40 places went to girls who were the only one coming from their school. between 500 and 600 girls sat the entrance exam that year.

The exam morning is quite long (from about 8:30 till 1:00pm) but doing all 4 test papers allows both arts-oriented and science/maths-oriented girls a chance to perform well.
