I am asking this question for my sister. She is hoping to move to Bovingdon in near future has fallen in love with a house.
However we are aware of difficulties with secondary school allocations in this area. Does anybody know if she is likely to get her daughter into Bucks Grammar school if she passes the 11+. Her daughter is 9, I feel Chesham High is most likely. Does anybody know? How did Bovingdon children fair this year with Herts Secondary allocations?

Many Thanks

Hi sortie

Chesham High should be no problem at all from Bovingdon, even though it is Herts, because it is just over the County boundary and very close to the school. They currently take children from as far away as Harrow, so there would have to be a huge change in numbers before Bovingdon fell out of the allocation area.

Can't help on Herts, I'm afraid - you might like to try the Herts section for that.
